Unsung Studio takes home 3 Awards in the 2022 American Advertising Awards Competition
The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative creative competition, recognizing creative excellence in the art of advertising with over 40,000 entries each year from around the country.
Unsung took home awards in 3 categories for branding and packaging work:
- GOLD: Integrated Brand Identity Campaign - Station Craft
- GOLD: Judge's Choice Award for best brand identity - Station Craft
- SILVER: Brand Packaging Campaign - Lord Hobo Brewing
GOLD: Integrated Brand Identity Campaign
Station Craft is home to some of the best food and drink in Dana Point. From their in-house brewed craft beers to fine food offerings, they hit the PCH firing on all cylinders. We created a brand foundation for the restaurant, including logo, messaging, printed collateral, signage, and website design.
GOLD: Judge's Choice - Best Brand Identity
While Station Craft has many brand elements, the core brand system we developed is the driving force behind all collateral. The mark needed to be representative of their central location, crafty enough to evoke the feeling of fine dining, while not losing its roots in craft brewing. The judges seem to dig it. So do we.
SILVER: Brand Packaging Campaign
Lord Hobo Brewing Company, known for their world famous BoomSauce Double IPA, was experiencing a lack of uniformity throughout their brand and product packaging. Continuity is the strategic glue that makes a brand’s communication whole, and more than just a collection of parts.
